A combination of ECI’s competencies in modeling and hardware design is the area of Virtual Prototyping.

Using its core modeling tools and related plug-ins, ECI can develop models of products at various stages of development and perform trade-of analysis to determine specific design decisions.   Examples include virtual prototypes for patient cooling warming devices, environmental health monitor electronics optimization, and medical manufacturing. In addition, ECI has applied this capability to create executable specifications of complex systems.  This includes modeling of communication data links and voice translation devices.
