Job Description:

 

Responsible for development of architecture artifacts (DoDAF views), which document the program logic or system flow.  The Software Architect will perform complex analysis in the design and implementation of software applications.  The Software Architect will provide fact-finding and research as required for various assigned projects.  The Software Architect will assist ECI teams with creation and upkeep of required architecture artifacts needed to obtain Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment & Authorization (A&A).

Qualitative Requirements:

 

--At least five years of experience in software architecture and development

--At least three years of experience using DoDAF views and models

--At least three years of experience in RMF or other DOD certification and accreditation (C&A) processes

--At least one year of experience design and analysis of complex software applications

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

--Experience in development of DoD software systems

--Experience in multiple phases/steps of RMF A&A processes

--Experience with CyberScope and SCAP

 

Educational and Experience Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent discipline with minimum of 3 years’ experience.
