Job Description:

 

Edaptive Computing, Inc. (ECI) requires a Research and Software Analyst with experience in software development, data analytics, and researching the state of the art. This role includes investigation, identification, and application of complex software solutions in areas such as machine learning, data mining, and cyber security. The analyst will research innovative ideas in these areas and demonstrate identified tools and techniques through software prototypes and experimentation. The role applies proven problem-solving, analytical and communication skills to successfully apply complex techniques and tools to automate the analysis of large, complex data. This position offers the opportunity to do hands-on research and development.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

 

Master’s degree in Computer Science/Any Engineering

At least 1 year of training or experience with machine learning or related artificial intelligence techniques

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

 

Knowledge of Java or similar object-oriented languages

Capability to perform complex research

Capability to work independently to meet timely goals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly present analysis proposals and results

 

Desired Skills and Abilities:

 

Knowledge of Neural Networks or similar machine and deep learning techniques

Knowledge of Natural Language Processing techniques

Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices

Strong mathematical background

Knowledge and experience with Hadoop and/or Apache Spark/Storm

Knowledge of HTML5, Angular or similar JS frameworks
