ECI Awarded EMD Contract to develop Non-Invasive Warming Cooling Device

EDAPTIVE COMPUTING, INC. (ECI) of Dayton, OH, a pioneer in innovative solutions for rapid analysis, optimization and assurance of complex systems and processes, has been awarded a contract valued at nearly $5,700,000 by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). Under the terms of the contract, the ECI team will apply their innovative modeling, analysis, and optimization tools and techniques to perform engineering and manufacturing development of a Non-Invasive Warming Cooling Device (NIWCD) for use in expeditionary medicine for patient stabilization and transport. Four devices will be designed, developed and operationally tested. In addition, manufacturing processes will be fully matured and readied for initial production, and the NIWCD will be submitted to the FDA for certification.
