Job Description:

 

Edaptive Computing, Inc. (ECI) requires Research Analysts with experience in data/predictive analytics and formal methods. The analyst will apply knowledge/skills in these areas to develop and verify solutions for our customers. The role applies proven problem-solving, analytical and communication skills to successfully apply complex methods and tools to automate the analysis of large, complex data. The role also applies applying sophisticated formal methods applications such as model checking and theorem proving to verify and validate software/hardware designs. This position offers the opportunity to do hands-on research and development.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

 

Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics/Computer Science or those pursuing graduate degree

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

 

Knowledge of object-oriented languages

Capability to perform complex research

Capability to work independently to meet timely goals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly present analysis proposals and results

 

Desired Skills:

 

Strong mathematical background

Knowledge of Formal Methods and Model Checking

Knowledge and experience with Hadoop and/or Apache Spark/Storm
